I offer direction and support during each step of the writing journey from brainstorming ideas, finding clarity in your message, and editing your work to (expert guidance) on self-publishing and marketing your book. While I offer each of these services separately, I highly recommend you consider my editing + coaching hybrid option to keep me as an coach AND editor in your back pocket!

My mission is to create a safe space for you to process the thoughts, feelings, fears, and dreams you have about your writing life so you can become the writer you’re called to be. I’ll coach you through your own thoughts and observations from a faith-based and cognitive-behavioral perspective. My goal is to help you grow in your gifting as a writer. I will be your cheerleader and your encourager, and I won’t shy away from asking the tough questions. After all, growth never happens in our comfort zones.

I have a few different options
I offer a 3-month package (6 sessions) for $750. A 4-month package (8 sessions) for $925 Or a 6-month package (12 sessions) for $1200.00 tailored to your individual writing coaching needs.

Editing
I offer editing for many types of nonfiction books. More specifically, I offer developmental editing and line editing for memoirs, prescriptive memoirs, self-help books, bible studies, devotionals, and workbooks.
*I’m happy to provide a 1500-word sample edit of your project upon request.
As a developmental editor I can:

✅ Help you identify or fine-tune the main idea/ or takeaway at both book and chapter level.

As a line editor I can:

My rate for developmental editing is $55/1000 words, (ex: 50,000 words =$2750)
My rate for line editing is $40/1000 words, (ex: 50,000 words =$2000)
Separately, both types of editing would cost you $95/word (ex: 50,000 words =$4750)
I offer a discount of $80/1000 words for developmental and line editing bundled together.

Want the best of both worlds, someone to offer feedback, support, guidance (and accountability, did I mention I love accountability) as well as feedback and edits to help make your message or story sparkle and shine?
I offer a unique approach which includes:
An initial call to set up the “book sketch”
Written feedback for each chapter
Verbal feedback for each chapter
We meet on Zoom to review edits/feedback for each chapter and as I coach you, I provide encouragement (often in the form of helping you set deadlines) to keep your writing on track.
As we work to flesh out your book, you can start to take my edits and suggestions and work them in AS your writing (not after), which saves you money AND time.
